The late General Sani Abacha, while he was the head of state of Nigeria, made vast political connections with various people. Here, he was shown flying in one of the jets of the Nigerian Presidential Fleet and with him in the aircraft were the former belligerents of the Nigerian Civil War: to the left is General Yakubu Gowon and to the right is the late Ikemba of Nnewi and leader of the Biafran Forces, Dim Odumegwu Ojuwku who would later contest for the presidency of Nigeria.

Even in the private jet years after the Biafra war? Ojukwu still didn't trust Gowon. His facial expression says it all.

Tomorrow someone will expect me to fight for these men. As bad as Abacha was rated by the popukace, these two men that wasted the lives of millions saw it fit to fly with him to God knows where

Nigeria is not one... The pics says it all.
I love Ojukwu.

Ojukwu and abacha are both dead, very soon Gowon would join them...
I guess Gowon and abacha were speaking the Fulani language that is why ojukwu backed out.

It is common knowledge that Ojukwu was one of the campaigners of Abacha's transformation from Khaki Dictator to Agbada President

Gowon is a friend to every government in power
