WHAT AFENIFERE SHOULD DO.
Two people are dragging razor blade.
It is the one who have his hand cut that will
release the razor blade.
The rivalry between Afenifere and Tinubu started officially in 2002 shortly after Ige was killed.
At a meeting(Prior to this period) in Ilejemeje Ekiti (Ayo Fasnmi's home), Tinubu had sent his Deputy Bucknor Akerele to represent him.
Bucknor was seen lamenting publicly in the meeting saying "Mi o ki nse egbe Tinubu(I'm not Tinubu's mate), he has no respect, he can't be giving me orders, imagine that little boy".....LOL.
Ayo Fasanmi was raged....he almost used his hands to cover the mouth of Bucknor. He told her "you are wrong. He is your boss, just like Awo was Ajasin's boss.
This is not about age, this is leadership.
He is your leader.
If you have issues that cannot be reconciled...just resign.
If you continue like this, you will become history like SLA..." Hmmmmm.
Many Afenifere leaders supported Bucknor because, they also said Tinubu was 'trying to tell us what to do'. They eventually pushed Bucknor
to her political grave, though alive but unheard of till date.
Afenifere started taking odd
decisions no matter how ridiculous just to
ensure that they did not go to Tinubu direction.
It got to a stage that even if Tinubu describe them as wise elders, they will still disagree and say they are foolish toddlers!!! Lol.
Eventually, their stooge AD Chairman Akinfenwa took AD far beyond the reach of Tinubu and sold it in cash to the PDP.....Tinubu was run out of the party.
He formed AC. And AD suffered stroke, went into coma and died in the hands of Afenifere and Akinfenwa.
Since then if Tinubu goes right, Afenifere will go left and because Tinubu is always taking good decision, Afenifere is always taking the opposite.
Afenifere agenda eventually changed from
protecting the Yoruba interest to bringing down that little boy Tinubu.
It became an antagonist group whose sole aim is to take unexplainable vengeance!!!
In 2007, Afenifere had become an instrument of retrogression in the hand of PDP working against Fashola, Dipo Dina, they had earlier in 2003, joined PDP to remove Bisi Akande as Osun Governor.
Till date, if you want to know what
Afenifere will do, find out what Tinubu is doing now, then the opposite is theirs. They are the backers of Mimiko, Kashamu, Fayose, Omisore, Agbaje and other notable die hard haters of Tinubu.
What got GEJ attracted to Afenifere? Is it
because he developed SW? No. GEJ did
nothing...as in NOTHING in the SW? If you see one show me. Is it because GEJ love the SW? NO.
He hates SW with passion, OBJ brought him to power, he jilted him, he marginalised the SW glaringly and empower the 'abiipabes' in the land.
So what was the attraction? Their only
hope of bringing down Tinubu politically and may be, physically too, was in GEJ.
If GEJ can destroy Tinubu, Yoruba need not more than that!!! And they started following GEJ around....the respect they never gave Ige, OBJ or Tinubu was rolled in one and handed over to the world renowned clueless omugo that ever come
to power in the world. ...GEJ!!! Shame on you Afenifere.
Let us assume in 2015, Tinubu supported GEJ and Afenifere supported Buhari. And now Buhari had given Yoruba sons daughters, Awolowo in law VP, and many other huge position of responsibilities. Tinubu would have been persuaded to accept the winner!!! Only a foolish
man will get to the end of a road and still knock his head on the wall!!! The reversal is the case today, and Envy has lost completely.
Afenifere have lost every single goodwill it brought to politics in 1999!!! Envy and overbearing have brought their pride to shambles.
They exist no more apart from in the book of history!!! Tinubu has proved to the Yoruba people that his struggle since 2003 is not for himself but for them... he has given them many soldiers, he has
told the world that for every Fayose or Omisore or Koro, there are great ones like Fashola, Fayemi, Aregbesola, Osinbajo.....For every talkative like FFK, there is always an eloquent Gbajabiamila, intelligent Lai Mohammed.
For every Obada, Jumoke etc, there is an Adeosun, a Dabiri...... Yorubas are not a thug generation.
We are Omoluabis.....We are Afenifere!!!!!
Afenifere must do a press conference admitting their errors and commending the hero BOLA AHMED TINUBU for taking Yoruba to the center even as Opposition Leader without being a PDP man for one day.....without compromising the
stand and ideals of opposition politics as taught us by Obafemi Awolowo.......
The fight should be over now, the loser is known and we know the winner. ... Afenifere lost.....Tinubu wins. That is Eledua for you... He gives victory to those who deserve it.
