actually its an open question, to be more specific, human behaviour, character, exibition of fanatisim, rigidity of reason and thought. these thing, funny as it may seem, contribute extensively to the quality of life around us. does this help now neo?

The followers.Without the followers believing, accepting and having 100% faith in nonsensical dogmas dished at them, there would be no religion in the first place.

sure it does.

The followers are to blame. people are fond of reading their pastors and not their bibles.
When I read some of the things Christ embassy members go/went through, I just shake my head. Cos I dont see myself EVER going through such.
The bible is there for all to read, scholars are not needed to understand the teachings of Christ. Every one astray is to blame for being astray.

It is,indeed. The religious priesthoods over the centuries have discovered the average human being cannot think for himself, that he/she needs a crotch to lean on,so they just decided to supply him/she with that crotch at a price,of course.

The followers need the leaders to lead them and the leaders use The religion to get what they want usually money from the followers smiley

well, well, well. ahem, firstly, thnx all for ur valued opinions, becos nomatter how irrelevant it may seem, we shud remember 'wat is waste to man is food for the dung beetle, flies, and their like'. so once again ,thanks all. now, to the topic under discussion. from all opinions so far, most finger seem to be pointing in the direction of the followers, well obviously it seems like the situation of the white man who wanted to buy national theater @ a cheap price, lets assume the 'national theater' represents riches, wife, husband, children or even heaven, it makes no difference, the 'white man' we all know is the 'follower'. he wants to get to 'heaven' but deos not want to 'die'. but we all knw from birth, the only way out of this planet is through the grave. even animals will agree. on the other hand, this deos not exhonerate the 419er who pretenciously claimed to own 'national theater' so 'neo' the views of 'manmustwac' and 'jagunlabi' also relevant, dnt you think so?

lately a recognition came to me. we are interwined with the world around us. we see wat we want to see in others. that is why one given situation might make one 'laugh heartily' while another 'cry'.

Wow, so one can still find someone in 9ja who isn't shallow (tinks deeply)? I tink i see what u're tryna say. People (xpecially closed-minded ones) tend to be selfish even in their thoughts. For dem, there's hardly any existence outside their existence; any opinions other dan theirs, nay, they seldom see it as opins but as facts as presented/believed by them.
