The recklessness of Julius Berger truck and lorry drivers is legendary. They drive as if they are in their father’s ancestral kingdom and their lackadaisical attitude on the road has killed and injured many Nigerians. It is now noticed that the numbers they put at the back of their vehicles are not complete. Whether the numbers were tampered with by the drivers themselves ni or whether this is a deliberate policy of deceit and corruption from Julius Berger itself, this is definitely an issue that should be looked into. I don't know the rule guiding this. I think companies do this so that other road users can call to report when the drivers concerned are reckless on the road.
So, a fleet manager should be available to oversee things like this, especially in a large company like Julius Berger. Probably the driver painted out the rest of the numbers.

I have once witnessed a van that displayed such notice with a complete phone number. When I dialed the number to complain, the call was answered by the same driver I tried to report! We were driving beside him on the road while I made the call, and I saw him pick up his cell phone (while driving!)

When I asked him how come, he told me to mind my business!
