I had been observing all along to see how things would pan out relating the 'Missing Budget'.

It had been known in the public domain that the budget had been retrieved in order for adjustments to be made cause of the myriad of errors that marred the document.

Days gone by and the truth is beginning to emerge as the presidency seeks for a scapegoat to bare the brunt of them seeking to correct their errors in secret. All of sudden the budget is truly missing however, a new one has emerged from the special adviser to the president on NASS matters - Sen. Enang who had refused to comment on camera and states that the presidency and the senate are discussing on a resolution pathway regarding the issue... This leaves much to presumption and the rumour mill...

Instead of apologising to Nigerians and taking responsibility for proposing a near impossible and non-implementable budget which would further aggravate the sufferings of Nigerians, the president who is meant to be an epitome of integrity could not look at the faces of over 150 million Nigerians and say the simple truth. Instead they have gotten the media to begin to hype the suppose attempt to arrest Government Tompolo in order to distract Nigerians from commenting on their high level of incompetence and ineptitude.

I am surprised that the man that seeks to move Nigeria forward so dearly would want to do it in secret!? How can he achieve this It leaves me wondering what the motives are... If he has failed to present a wholesome budget a first time and needs to make adjustments to align with current realities and correct wrong calculations, assumptions and underlying corruption, he sholud have simply come out to say so.

This has caused the nation serious national embarrassment; The Chinese television station on cable tv was stated as broadcasting the news of a 'missing budget' hours after the saga began...

The deceit is now getting out of hand by the day. To imagine that we still have over three years to live in this mess makes it unthinkable.
