Ahmedie25:
1. God sent his prophet to threaten David with how many years of famine?

(a) Seven (2 Samuel 24:13)
(b) Three (1 Chronicles 21:12)
Matthew Poole's Commentary
Seven years of famine.

Object. In 1 Chronicles 21:12, it is only three years of famine.

Answ. 1. Some conceive that here was an error in the transcriber, and that the true reading is three years, as the LXX. read it in this place, being supposed to have found it so in their copies, and that otherwise they durst never have presumed to make so great a change in the text.

2. In Chron. he speaks exactly of those years of famine only which came for David’s sin; but here he speaks more confusedly and comprehensively, including those three years of famine sent for Saul’s sin, 2Sa 21. And this sin of David’s was committed in the year next after them, which was in a manner a year of famine; either because it was the sabbatical year, wherein they might not sow nor reap; or rather, because not being able to sow in the third year, because of the excessive drought, they were not capable of reaping this fourth year. And three years more being added to these four, make up the seven here mentioned. So the meaning of the words is this, As thou hast already had four years of famine, shall three years more come? And that it is said of these seven years, that they shall come, it is a synecdochical expression frequent in Scripture, because part of the years were yet to come; even as it is said of the Israelites, that they should wander in the wilderness forty years, Numbers 14:33, when part of that time was already spent.

Matthew Poole's commentary.

2. How old was Ahaziah when he began to rule over Jerusalem?
(a) Twenty two (2 kings 8:6)
(b) Forty two ( 2 Chronicles 22:2)
Coming to issues that were obtained from the efforts of the scribes and recorders in an age when there was no press or printing machine and when the only means was to write with hand, the issue an hand is purely historical and largely immaterial to the essence and purpose of Scripture. Besides, studies have shown that:

Thus the sense of Ahaziah’s being “a son of 42 years” in his reigning is seen to refer to his being a son of the dynasty of Omri which was in its 42nd year. Putting the two Scriptures together reveals that Ahaziah was 22 years old when he began to reign during the 42nd year of the dynasty of Omri, of which he is also an integral part
Chronology of the Old Testament, Dr Floyd Jones.

Before anyone refutes the quote, let him/her prove to us that as at the time in question, Omri's dynasty indeed was not in it's 42nd year.

3 . How many stalls for horses did Solomon have?
(a) Forty thousand (I Kings 4 : 26)
( b) Four thousand (2 chronicles 9: 25)
Solomon had 40,000 horses kept in Four thousand stall meaning 10 horses per stall. But I wonder what influence this has on the Essence of the Bible.

2 Chronicles 9:25
4 . How many where children of zattu
(a) 945 (Ezra 2:cool
(b) 845 ( Nehemiah 7: 13)
I have c more than 100 contradictions in Bible I hope
my Christian brothers will explain this few ones written above.
Answer to this is same as (2). All these were picked from purely historical aspects of the OT! Nothing relating to prophecies, Christ, the New Covenant etc! Do you realise that these books are with the Israelites today and it forms their history? These are matters that were compiled by scribes and judges, and expecting men at such a primitive time to be accurate and perfect with words and numbers is anachronistic!
The true contradiction will be if one passage says Moses died and was buried by Gershom and another says he went up the mountain and God handled his burial!
OR
If one passage says Elijah went to heaven while another says Elijah was beheaded by Jezebel!
