Court Grants Olisa Metuh Bail by bumi10(m): 4:01pm On Jan 19, 2016

A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted bail to the spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olisa Metuh, on the condition that he pays N400 million as bond.

Mr. Metuh is to also submit his international passport, and must provide two sureties with N200 million each. The sureties must have properties in Maitama district of Abuja.

The PDP spokesperson was taken to court on Tuesday in handcuffs.
He is accused of receiving N400 million from an arms money diverted by the office of the National Security Adviser.
Mr. Metuh has been in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for about two weeks.

this is it metuh will pay for bail equal to the money he collected in the first place and he will still be rearrested in front of the prison gate. i love nigeria right nw.

Good one.....but this is where the REAL corruption watch begins.....Make sure Buhari and his cohorts don't steal the money again after it has been returned. Politicians and stealing, dats all they do.

400 million for 400 million........ that's a good deal by the government...

this doesn't stop them from arresting him by the gate of the prison for another corruption charge again

when you are fighting corruption..... you have to be wise and play it by its rule and the way the player wants it to be played

At last a working Judiciary.

I say re-arrest him after he even makes bond,and have deposited the 400 meter as required by the Court.

This guy with his mouth,is too dangerous to be allowed one single freedom.

The Grey hair's on his face though.

Kanu spent one Night in Prison and the next day,stress brought out plenty of grey hair on his face.

Raymond Dokpesi spent 2 hours in Jail,and came out looking like Father Christmas with Grey hair.

Metuh too.

May our enemies and the enemies of Nigeria grow WHITE BIABIA on their faces,so we can recognize them.
