Few Tips To Keeping A Healthy Hair... by Sissyshakara(f): 6:53pm On Jan 20, 2016
We all want to have a healthy hair especially now that most people are going natural. Am also proud to be a “naturalista“, so I will be sharing some important tips we all need to know to keep our hair healthy.

shampoo Many naturalista's dont know the lesser the shampoo the better, we need to reduce our hair exposure to shampoo. For me twice a month will do, then I co-wash in between. We should also ensure we use shampoo that are gentle to our hair.
Lastly on shampoo's, we need to stay off shampoos that have sulfate, because sulfate strip the hair of its natural oils thereby making your hair dry & brittle, which could lead to breakage.

Trimming : It is important to try and trim our split ends, though most people are scared to trim, but its important we do, to have a healthier hair. At least once in 4weeks and like a quarter inch, then we are set on a journey to having a healthy hair.

Our Diet: Our hair needs Kerstin which can be found in proteins, so lets try and eat food rich in protein, dont mean for you to over eat though... Food such as fat-red yoghurt ,fish, beans, soy etc.

The use of chemicals: Most naturalist like to change their hair color, but if we must lets look out for harmful chemical in dyes such as hydrogen peroxide or ammonia which are not good on our hair. There are many natural solution to color our hair such as amla and henna which can be used in place of harmful dyes.

Drink lot of water: water also play a key role to a healthy hair, not just our hair, our health as a whole, and when you are healthy, your hair will definitely be healthy as well.
