The Super Eagles were dumped out of the African Nations Championship by Guinea on Tuesday afternoon

Nigerian Twitter has expressed disappointment at the elimination of the Super Eagles from the African Nations Championship in Rwanda on Tuesday.

The Eagles, who were in need of at least a draw, fell 1-0 to Guinea at the Stade Umuganda in Gisenyi.

Ibrahima Sankhon’s lone goal left Nigeria in third place with four points in Group C behind Tunisia and Guinea despite starting the tournament brightly with a 4-1 defeat of Niger.
