So I'm new to NL and came on to have fun cause i just became a free agent
I recently ended a "friends with benefit" relationship with a lady friend cause i found out she was getting to the point wia she wanted more. When it started we had an understanding that was simple if anyone calls it was a booty call and had to be answered immediately (i have left my office severally by 11am to honor our code lol) those were the good days. Recently my friend wants to go for a drive or to the beach or go see a movie then the last one was when she invited me to a friends wedding; well i have told her severally i'm not a relationship guy.
So last weekend we had a nice marathon and out of nowhere she tells me she some guy is asking for her hand in marriage and she wants my opinion, well i congratulate her and advise her to go for it but i decide there that its time to move on.
She has been calling me all week but i just feel our needs have grown apart. What do you guys in NL think.
Especially the liberated and open minded ladies am i been to brash.

That's the thing with 'friends with benefits', innit bruv? Someone eventually gets too attached. Keep avoiding her till she moves on. She's being emotional, bruv. Help her make the right decision by choosing a legit commitment over whatever she thinks y'all can have...which you clearly don't want.

Thanks Mate thats the plan i have but i just admit its day 6 and its not been easy. i had to work this weekend just to get a move on

Bruv, don't get that feeling twisted. It's normal to be fond of someone you hooking up with often. I'll defo miss her too...and the cooch lol. Just admit to yourself to miss her but you need to let her go. It'll pass with time, just stay hard.

As for missing her she was/is a good friend and buddy you know the friend you call on a free day and head to the bar with, besides we were never exclusive and it never bothered her till this whole emotional breakdown started now she wants to hold hands and stir into my eyes and be all squeamish. She no we ruined a good friendship.

Well thanks guys for all the prop Today was better than yesterday and i finally took a call from my friend we spoke well and i congratulated her on the proposal. we spoke about the guy she is going to marry (if she says yes) and as friends but I made sure that we did not discuss any romantic or emotional issue. i even jokingly asked her to hook me up with another friend.
I'm still working till monday and boredom is my kryptonite.
