Hello all, in my opinion, I felt it will be out of place for us all to conclude on news paper stories over the 2.1 billion dollars arms deal, in a civilise clime, all documents and information's are made available to the public for scrutiny, I suggested it is high time we demand and request presidents buhari and his cohorts to make public all documents and evidence relating to this deals available, we can not continue with news paper story about who said what, please nairalanders let all call for these documents to put all these confusion to rest. your opinion is welcome.

Na scam and propaganda! They simply arrest u then fly some stories and wait for any lead! It is not their fault but, citizens who are not engaging and demanding. A rudderless govt still lacking direction can say anything to feed the emotions of citizens. Instead of citizens rising against this #budgetofyams riddled with corruption and errors, it is #dasukigate that is d opium!

For real.. Cos the amount mentioned so far is not even up to 2 billion naira out of close to 1 trillion that the the 2.1billion is. Now who is with the remaining share, as in the biggest cut if there is.

Its all Apc lies.Nothing like stealing arms money. What govt is probing is security fund of mr president. Apc only tagged it Arms fund to suit gullible nigerians and e media apc worriors to react. If really $2.1b exists it should have been appropriated by NASS in 2015 budget. Gej says he never approved such amount for arms. Goose chase in d face of economic woes.

a separate security vote for the president? Wow!
Maybe you guys should read the budget more, or go back and read the letter gej wrote to the NASS when he wanted to borrow $1billion to fight BH.

Seek ye first quality education, and every other thing shall be added.

You all need to read the first interim report submitted by the arms probe committee and study it carefully. While it's true that the total amount involved is $2.1bn and N364bn (?), the govt has not said the whole money was looted/siphoned. It is a part of the total that was looted and affected weapons and contracts were specifically mentioned in that report.

So, while it is true that not all the money was stolen, it is appropriate to represent the scandal as mismanaged $2.1bn arms money.

interesting , can I please have access to the copy of that interim report? and why acting on interim report and labelling yet innocent masses as rogue since the findings are yet to be substantiated, that brings to mind the allegation levelled against the ministry of finance and the NNPC, can you remember? that serious controversial comment that led to a serious unrest in the nation which eventually ended up to be false and archaic ignorant from the then CBN governor.

do you think it is right and justifiable to exposed anybody to such public ridicule ? even tho you only have an interim report to vouch for? don't you think the allege should be called on to defend such report before dragging them around like criminals? what if the interim report was tailored? I need to be cleared on this please.
