To finalise our Salvation, Jesus took 7 steps down in Humility and then God lifted him 7 steps up. (SOD)

There are 7 Spirits of God (Rev. 1:4; Rev. 4:5; Rev. 3:1 & Rev. 5:6).

Jesus gave instructions and warnings to 7 churches in Rev. Chapters 2 & 3.

Jesus holds the 7 stars in his right hand and walks among the 7 golden lampstands. Rev. 2:1

To attain perfection, these 7 steps the OP enumerated are in order and will greatly help.

You are correct about the scripture, however it's still a single step, the believing in the heart and confessing with the mouth happens simultaneously as one step. In the Greek it's called "homologia" more like to say the same thing in two places.

In clearer terms it means when you say that God raised Christ from the dead and you really believe it, you are saved.

My interest is to discourage the man made "steps". The power of salvation is with the one who saves! Creating steps for people shifts the attention to the sinner and not the Savior.

I just want us christians to be sure of what we say / believe. And above all, walk the walk. Not just talk the talk. It's cos of lukewarm christians that athiests are having such a field day with us. We are the salt of the earth!

The problem now is that most people just believe intellectually (with their minds/ head). You need to believe with your heart.

you've spoken my mind. let me add that it is the Spirit that does it. some of those steps will naturally come when the Spirit of God is there. if you academically follow those steps, you will be carrying a self-made salvation that leads to nowhere. just be yourself
