Guy i single handedly upgraded my firmware from version 10 to 30.All you need to do is to get a very fast internet browsin, and with your nokia software updater you are good to go.i updated mine with etisalat connected to my vista laptop.it took me precisely two hours.online update is better and easier compare with offline, because you don't need to change your product code etc.

Niko my problem is I want to migrate from SE P1i which I currently to a higher model, still produced by SE. I've been using the p1i for close to 2 years now. I thing it's a good phone considering all the features such as push messaging, qwerty keyboard, predictive text input and lots more. What has however made me begin to think of upgrading to a higher version is my recent experience with Quickoffice. I bought a higher version to replace the one that came along with the phone. I however noticed that the new version like the old one couldn't recognise vista document. When I complained to Quickoffice they told me that the version I bought was the highest upgrade for UIQ and they have stopped development of new software for these category of phones because development on that platform has stopped.

I really need to go for an upgrade. Something that has all the features of p1i and more. Someone should please recommend for me.
