Nigerian universities are known for various ways of generating revenues. The issue of admitted students paying huge acceptance fees ranging from N21,000 in some schools for Pre-degree programme and N32,000 above for 100 level students is really not appropriate. The EFCC should please look into this. Acceptance fees are not justifiable because acceptance simply means accepting with approval. This trend of extortion should be discontinued. And I am calling on well-meaning Nigerians to help an average Nigerian in putting this to an end. Education is our right not an opportunity. The poor needs education also.
