This is in response to NexTrend allegation https://www.nairaland.com/2913809/case-fraud-against-chucky234#42634441
.
NexTrend contacted me C class within his budget of 700k sometime in May 2015, I told him that it will be hard to get a clean sound Benz for 700k but promised to let him know if I find any good car that can go for that price.
From then on we chat frequently and I offered him two C class for 750k but he rejected them based on colour preference, we always in touch and during that time shared few other ideas.

Sometime in July he made it clear that he needed the Benz before travelling, all the registered C class in my care at the time was higher than his supposed budget of 700k, but I was ready to help him get the car as a friend.
I offered him a clean C240 owned by a customer of mine in Abuja, the car was very clean which he can attest to. The owner wanted 950k last for the car but I had to personally begged him to come down, he later agreed to let go for 870k, NexTrend said he had just 750k but will borrow 50k from his sister in Abuja to make it 800k but the owner was still not ready to accept 800k for the car. Eventually someone else paid for the car.
I called my friend Abubakar and begged him to give my friend his own C240 for 800k which refused, here is the said Benz www.nairaland.com/2343656/neatly-used-benz-c240-up
I wasn't even thinking of making profit, for two weeks I was begging Abspecial let the go for 800k so my friend can pay, he said because of me he will accept 850k and nothing less.
I asked NexTrend to be patient till I'm able to get something cheaper for him, I got another clean C200 Kompressor he said his wife doesn't like black, another nairalander Auztino came in from Enugu and paid for the C200 an went back to Enugu with it.

A week later he called me that he was to travel on Friday and had to conclude everything on Thursday, I said well I don't have anything cheap at hand but I'll check around revert.
I drove round Festac and Surulere the whole day and couldn't find any sound C class, I called him back on my way home that was unable to get something good.
On getting home Femi called that he has a clean C200 Kompressor going for 950k, I called NexTrend back that we might be lucky as someone just offered me a C200.
In few minutes I got the pics from Femi, he said the car wa used for jusst few months and everything about the car are in perfect order.
Re: Re: Case Of FRAUD Against Chucky234 by chucky234(m): 3:58pm On Feb 05, 2016
Cont'd.

From the pictures I got from Femi the C200 look clean, I offered 750k to Femi for the car but he insisted on taking 850k last, at the end we agreed 800k and sent screenshots of all my conversations with Femi to NexTrend to follow up.
The following morning he paid in 800k in two batches into my account, the alert came in late so we got to Ikeja very late to pick up the car.
We checked the car and everything was ok except for few minor things we are expected, I paid for he car and left Ikeja as it was already very late and we had our sight on the tight traffic.
That night I sent him picture of the car at my place and calle the driver to come to my place early the following day so he can take the car for wheel balancing and alignment which I gave him money for from my pocket.
The driver left late and got to Uyo the following morning, few hours later NexTrend called me that the car was convereted and his wife is not happy with the car, I was shocked and pleaded with him and his wife and also promised to send smeone to come down to Uyo to pick the car.
I called the driver but he was away in Kogi, I pleaded with NexTrend to be patient till the guy returns, I also begged him to make sure he warms the car daily because parking the car down without warming it will cause huge mechanical and electrical problem to the car.

The driver came back to Lagos three weeks after and went to Abuja to deliver another Benz to Benin for me and my plan was for him to link Uyo from Benin but the driver said he had to spend the weekend with his family so we agreed a new date for him to travel to Uyo to bring the car back to Lagos.

I gave the driver transport fare to Uyo and 35k to bring the car back, on getting to Uyo the driver called me that the car was abandoned and was never warmed, the car entire system shut down.
I had to send additional 20k for the car to be re-programmed, the Canbus and all other electrical components of the car was also affected, I sent in additional money and NexTrend was kind enough enough and supported with 20k, the driver spent 4 days in Uyo and I was paying hotel bills before they were able to fix the car for him to manage it down to Lagos.
I wanted to sell off the car and refund NexTrend but the damaged were much, the from SAM wa also damaged along with the brainbox.

I told NexTrend of my plan to arrest Femi and have him refund the money or get me another car, eventually we tricked Femi to Ojo barracks where I got him arrested and taken to the military police with a soldier friend of mine standing-in as the buyer of the car to enable the military police office handle the case without handling it over to civil police.
Femi agreed to have sold the car to me but insisted that he was not aware that the car was converted and the money was actually paid to the owner of the car, so the o/c decided to transfer the case to his friend who is the o/c of Ikeja military police as people in Ojo cannot arrest the guy since Ikeja is under the control of Ikeja barracks, throughout the festive period the owner of the car was not in Lagos so we could not carry out the arrest.

I have assured NexTrend that I'll put money together to fix the car and sell if off if we fail to get the owner, the car is still parked and not sold.
I didn't get a penny from him, rather I have spent lots of money from my own pocket, I know things didn't work out and I have done my best to remey the situation but you calling me out for fraud is just going overboard bro.

That shouldn't even bother you. Just see all the twists and turns he is prepping to justify holding on to another man's N800+ sweat!

May I never cross paths with such minded folks!

Even without hearing from the other person, your story shows that you are dubious and you have dribbled the guy for ages while still holding on to his hard earned money.

What stopped you from refunding his money until you get another car?

You are a devil to avoid.

In July 2015 he made me an offer of a 2004 model C200 Kompressor at N800K with 78,000KM, EU-Specs, almost toks with pictures, because of how we had “related” and “testimonies” from other people online, I sent N815K to him(through bank transfer and deposit evidences which I still have) to him, 15K being part-payment for the driver. This was on July 8,2015. it took four(4) days for the car to get to Uyo-Akwa Ibom State.

When the car got to Uyo, I realized the following: the A/C was not working, the sound system was not working, the car was calibrated in MILES not Kilometers, the pointers(trafficators) and headlamps were not working. The on-board computer on the car reported 15 faults. And mileage was 152,000MILES not KILOMETERS again which is approx. 253,000KM. I was quite unhappy and reported those to him.

Later, I discovered that the car was converted and the VIN tampered with(last six digit scrapped off)….this really scared me for obvious reasons(felt the car COULD have been obtained through questionable circumstances)

WHY DID YOU LEAVE THESE ONES OUT? THE BOLDED ARE KEY POINTS WHICH YOU NEVER MADE MENTION OF.

Honestly I don't see the point of this thread. Chucky234, you should have just posted on the thread created by NexTrend. It won't be convenient for us to be shuttling between both thread. All replies will be posted on this thread henceforth.
