FIVE WAYS TO MANAGE STRESS http://vesselofinspiration.com/five-ways-to-manage-stress/

The need to meet up with the demands of modern life, has led to an increased level of stress among people. From managing the home front to functioning optimally at work, the need to effectively balance things up to avoid a breakdown, has not been so largely felt.

Stress management is an issue that affects all ladders of the society; cutting across ethnic and religious divides.

So, if you're looking for ways to curtail the stress at home and in the workplace, then this post is surely yours!

1. KNOW THE SOURCE

You must know where the stress is originating from. You should ask yourself: is it from my home, workplace, friends?

That's the beginning of your journey to tackling the stress.

2. LEARN TO SAY "NO"!

Are you surprised at this? Or you're wondering: say no to what?

Often, what causes stress is because you take too much of responsibilities. Yes, you want to satisfy everyone and so whatever they request for, when your hands are tied ( you're occupied with multitude of task), you accept.

I am quite sure you want to be in the good books of everyone but taking too much to making sure such relationships are cemented, should not be on the altar of your health. Just know when to say " no" to some things and people, else you'd end up stressed up.

3. GET HELP

The fact is that most of the things that contribute to the stress you're experiencing, should have been a thing of the past if you'd sought the help or assistance of others.

You could be sweating, panicking over something that will take just a call for you to do. Your neighbor next door might be the solution to that long staying problem. When a task is seen from another perspective, it has a way of easing it; that's make the job easier.

Yes, you can as well delegate some activities to people you know can them effectively and efficiently.

4. PAY YOURSELF

When I say pay yourself, I mean take yourself out. After a hard fought battle, trying to get through some task, it no biggie if you buy some drinks, go to a relaxation spot and reward yourself for a job well done.

This is not selfishness as some people might make you think but a way of reassuring yourself that you've done something worth the while.

5. EAT AND SLEEP WELL OR TAKE A BREAK

This one is a follow up from the previous point and is fundamental to curtailing stress. Wasting good food will give your body the needed nutrients to function and a good sleep will sure refresh you after a neck-breaking set of work.

Or you can take a break from hassles, depending on the nature of your work, come back and hit the ground running again. Of course, this will help you maintain balance and turn out better.

You've sure heightened your sense of awareness by going through this and that is some measure of steps away from the dreaded monster, stress.

So, hit me up: how do you curb with stress?
