When you form a culture of lies, people then find it so hard to believe what you say...

Now, people are saying "Explain these glaring & terribly unbelievable figures in the budget"...but, NO! They would never, because intergrity is @ stake! Even if we get 6 trillion to fund the budget, would it be for "Research & Development", which has a culmulative budget allocation of about 350 billion

They are only going to finance the budget deficit with the recovered loot. The balance shall be kept in the treasury or be shared.

Bro,what will you call a situation where a loot from a past looter is recovered, only for over N700m to be given to a minister(fayemi) for the 'upgrading' of their ministry's website.

it takes only a zombie to believe the elementary lie of a suppose financing 2.2trn plus deficit from propaganda loot recovery! After being turned down by every lender internationally plus local cash crunch, it is now a lie of imaginary loot recovery. We are stuck with jokes instead of governance!!!

Seized properties of looters can be sold to raise cash, it seems top foreign countries are willing to send repatriated money to Nigeria.

That's what they intend to do.

They want to inject cash into the system because since may 29, there is hardly any cash in circulation owing to the near non implementation of the inherited 2015 budget.

The only thing they need to do is to restrict and tighten imports. That way the cash in the system can be used in patronising made in Nigeria goods.

That's their only hope.

But I doubt the ever corrupt customs can secure our borders from smugglers

the outcome will still be very bad as we don't export a lot

Folks be optimistic for once, the perception of people towards governance is very heart breaking, well i don't blame them but the system, this are the kind of people our tertiary institutions bring forth garbage in garbage out. With nothing positive to contribute. The other angle with this indomie generation is they where hardly breast-feed by their mum for a year but with 'some' animal milk, if not this is good news.

If only they recover enough to offset the deficit... Thank God abacha saved for this day. Recover and do the needful. We are tired of all talk, no action.
