Good day, I am just wondering if there is a ready market for plantain cultivated on up 50 hectares of land. What are the possible challenges of such huge volumes of plantain cultivated. Do plantain chips companies and many other companies need such huge volumes.

There is market for 100 hectres but you have to find it.

Before planting you wouldneed to do feasibility studies on your potential markets.

The best places to start are:

Open markets
Food Processing Companies
Plantain Chips make
Export market etc

Once you have the proper knowledge you can appropriate the volume for each market and make your cash.
