STOP BRINGING THESE AMERICAN CELEBRITIES!!! Ugh we are sick and tired of this!!What is the obsession and adoration of these American celebrities who btw only show up for a couple of seconds on the red carpet? These people could care less about our country and our own talent! How many of them have invited Dare to host their event in America?? Who are we kidding? Look at the state of our economy, you will now pay them how much?? (in dollars) to come and do what? Its 2016 and we need to stop being foolish, STOP THE BS!!!!! undecided

Duh! While trying to be patriotic, we should also be honest, especially to ourselves.

If I can afford to go see an "American" artiste that I love, I will so go over and over again, you know why? because they actually sing something worth listening to, and yea, we do have some great singers like Dare, whom you mentioned, we are still working hard so that some day, his likes would host the said American event.

We are not there yet.

This is one of d reason dollar always rising against naira. We import everything in Nigeria from toothpick to clothing, from shoes to handbags, from biscuits to chocolates, from frozen turkey to frozen chicken. Now we are importing Ciara when we have our own tiwa savage and yemi alade readily available to give us good songs smiley

Sorry to say this, but your post doesn't make any sense for the following Reasons

1. Nigerian Music (Afrobreat) is one of the very few that has taken over Africa and it's beginning to Penetrate the world
2. Nigerians now put Afrobeat above every other genre of Music as it's played 80% in Nigerian Clubs, Parties, Both Home and Abroad
3. This strong Love and Mass appeal for Nigerian Music has made other Genre of Music sort of seems extinct

With these in Mind it becomes fun to hear other genre of music, see other artists, etc.. once in a while... Also the world is now a Global Village where people all over interacts, mix and meet, so it's no longer a Big Deal whether an R-Kelly or Beyonce visits.. Again you have no right to deprive anyone from meeting their Idol simply because they are not Nigerians, that is Discrimination right there! So allow people have fun please and stop making this an Issue when it is not

A Lot of us that leaves outside Nigeria are mostly into Naija Music... I have hundreds of CD's (that I have collected over the years) of Foreign artists, but since Naija Music Break out, I don't play them anymore, they are just decorations here that I will eventually give out to anybody that wants, cos I am all about Naija music, so allow people that wants to feel and enjoy other Genre of Music do because we can't all be the same.. It's one Life to live and people that can afford this Show should please go out and enjoy themselves..PLease!
I have seen Micheal Jackson in Concert at very close range twice! I have seen LL.COOL J, Janet Jackson in concert at very Close range once each! 2pac Died before I got the Chance to see him...so I have seen the ones I wanted to see, and now I am only about Naija Music..2face, Majek, Timaya... so people that wants to see foreign acts should do so. Thank you

I'm feeling jealous of the people who'd attend the show. Though its been a while and I'm not familiar with her music anymore I still remember her for energetic dance moves - she always delivers.
