how do we get to this point... I'll suggest the Nigerian army manning guard at the IDP camps should issue roll call no. on even person so that at very time this no. can be used to identify individual on entry and exit. any also organise people in family group of 10person and compel everyone to always account for their family group members at all time. this will help identify infiltrator

Massive enlightenment campaign, drop millions of flyers all over the areas of the north east, print out in hausa and arabic languages,,, communicate via pictures, images about the dangers of bombing, write out the necessary verses in koran that is against killing of innocent life. phone numbers to call on flyers etc... this is the way to checkmate the activities of boko haram.

If this case is handled well it will help in fighting the insurgency . I think our government can leverage on this and use it as an avenue to dissuade people from volunteering themselves as mules or suicide bombers.

This girl and her family should be rehabilitated, empowered by assisting the family in setting up a business/trade or financing their farming activities and possibly relocated elsewhere to a place of their choice and if possible given a financial reward .

With incentives like this many people like her will renege their decision at the point of detonating the bomb or involving themselves in suicide bombing and the Boko Haram sect too will find it hard getting committed and die hard suicide bombers .
