John 8:52 'The jews said to him (jesus) 'now we know that you have a demon'

this was what the jews said to jesus after hearing jesus asking aid from the devil, though the pre verse has been abrogated to hid what jesus did. You can ask the roman catholic for verification

ABUZOLA, GIVE UP. YOU ARE EMBARKING ON A FRUITLESS JOURNEY, clearly looking for something to make Jesus look bad, try and make pple see good about islam(if there's any) and don't try and cook up stories, read well before posting, you'll mislead a lot if you keep doing that, i know your religion has suffered an all time low on nairaland lately, so i advise you to know more about islam, and learn more about Jesus(biblical Jesus) and then you make the contrast yourself ( either a peodophile warrior or God's word in flesh (Jesus).
may God save your soul. Amen

GIVE YOUR LIFE TO CHRIST.
Re: Jesus Is Lord. A Must Read by olabowale(m): 5:15pm On Jul 07, 2009
@Sleek29: Does it make sense, that you say if there is any good in Islam? Look around Nigeria: the wealthiest among the Yorubas are mostly muslims! Late Abiola showed so much kindness, that it almost became a disease about him. And its all based on his Islam, because the Egba people (and indeed the Ijebus; I am one) are not that naturally generous!

If islam has no visible goodness; I wonder why none of you individually have not copied Biblical Jesus as to marriage and never get married, and we will see where your name ends? Or is it unnatural to be single at 33?

And no nation has ever been docile and never took up arms to fight those who provoked them or wished them harm: this is what each and every powerful chrsitian nation have done! There is no exception!

I guess you guys, individuallyy and and nationally see Muhammad (AS) as the one to follow, when it is really a matter of practically than the theoretical and never practical ways that you devised for your Biblical icon! Whats the use of his advice to his followers to buy swords by selling their few cloths, then?

Be real, man!
Re: Jesus Is Lord. A Must Read by Nobody: 9:43pm On Jul 07, 2009
@olabowale

Have you bothered to read what Jesus said about marriage?

@Abuzola

Jn 8:51-52

51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.

52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
KJV

You didn't quote the whole verse, and so you helped a lot of people take it out of context. You need to note some things:

1. The Jews didn't accept Jesus, and till today they haven't. It was only natural that they said all the wrong things about him.
2. From what you wrote, it's rational to conclude that the Roman Catholics don't believe in Jesus. They might as well dissolve the whole Roman Catholic church, if the foundation of their religion prayed to demons. They might as well ask the Church of Satan to absorb them.

How can you continue to accept the Roman Catholic church as an authority in Christianity if they didn't believe in Jesus?

@abuzola. To start wit,wat has generousity got to do wit ur post.

Ur claim about islam and generousity shows how myopic u re.so xtains are neva generous, chief Rochas okorocha,jimoh ibrahim,gamaniel onosode, etc are generous persns and are xtians as well.
u also laid that d ijebus & egbas are nt naturally generous xcept muslims.am an ijebu man & a good xtian many consider me a generous persn.even if som are stingy does dat make most stingy. Wy do like to xpose ur illetracy. I hope u didnt get this stingy/generous theories of urs frm your cherisd gospel of barnabas.
Re: Jesus Is Lord. A Must Read by sleek29(m): 7:29am On Jul 08, 2009
@ olabowale, you're so clueless, muslims have ruled nigeria except for obasanjo and gowon, which means 95% of this countries problems could not be solved by people who took mohammed as a role model, abacha, babangida are the very reason nigeria is in its present state. Imagine countries built on christain values, they didn't need oil to  grow their economies and still a country like america can go to war with the whole of the middle east and still win, a middle east that is entirely islamic. And given the corrupt background of abiola(ITT), i still think he would have made matters worst, he didn't have an organised home (had 48 wives), don't know how a man like that would have been able to save this country.

Abuzola:

Yes. It has now been confessed by a mus.lim. Jesus Is Lord !

When the Jews crucified Him, they placed on top of the cross "King of Jews" they too confessed that Jesus is King, and now from a Mus.lim testiying the same "Jesus Is Lord"
Bible the true Word of God!
Re: Jesus Is Lord. A Must Read by Abuzola(m): 11:30am On Jul 08, 2009
@sleek, we ruled Nigeria according to the masses desire, who are the masses ? The muslim and christian, had it been we rule by imposing sharia law, nigeria would have been better off.

@mactao, you keep going astray everytime you are on a hot sit. First you claim jesus wasn't god in a thread and now you claim roman catholic don't believe in jesus, hence they re not christian, right ?
