It's true,

Christianity as a religion was used as a weapon. The strange thing is that they colonised Indians, Arabs, and they did not touch their religions. Probably for fear of religious war. Africa(and most likely other black skinned people), and South America was culturally and politically divided. The Perfect prey.

But it was just a season. Diverse Kingdoms have arisen, enslaved, pillaged and were gone just as they came. It was their time, and they took full advantage. Another will rise and so forth. They should pray that its not Africans. Because the memory is too near.

People do not think this may happen because power and wealth and military prowess is still measured by the standards of the current powers. But it's a system put up by mortal men. People have survived and but great kingdoms without the stocks market and skyscrapers before. And as for military prowess, the art of war as fought by western powers is already being challenged by guerilla war, uninformed and unconventional warriors and tactics that are challenging war technology and tact.

The world changes fast. Every body has a time in the sun and a down time. And when your time to go down comes, it cannot be stopped.

This, basically. Genocide, mass-rape, blood-sacrifice, chosen people, torture and hellfire for eternity are at the heart of Christianity. For the established Christian churches of that time there was no contradiction whatsoever, only an endorsement of the buying and selling of Africans.

Also, we Africans are the world's foremost believers in Yahwehism. Why wouldn't we buy and sell our fellows?? Nothing in God's Word against it...

How do you mean, they brought schools, hospitals, helped to remove terrible cultures like killing of twins etc from our culture.

Because some whites used the bible to enslave some of us doesn't mean Christianity is bad. Just because someone used a cutlass to kill another person doesn't mean all cutlasses are bad. Christianity is a religion of Jesus Christ point out where Jesus supported slavery.

If I have to bring bible verses to prove my point, then that is a single sure-fire proof that u don't read ur bible.

Ask your fellow christians. Even go to ur pastors or priests and ask them.
