I pity you. So, membership of a church is now the same thing as being a Christian. Are we talking of the same church where Pasuma was invited to play and the GO could not stop his performance? A RCCG staunch member recently told me he doesn't believe Osinbajo is a Pastor, and she only confirmed my suspicion. RCCG need a revival!

There are many of his kind in the church. It's easy to become a Pastor in RCCG if you have money or you are well lettered. RCCG Pastors don't undergo the kind of scrutiny and training their counterparts in Deeper Life and Winners go through, and that's why they are full of scandals. It's not just enough to observe a publicized 50/100-day prayer and fasting to live up to a pastoral calling, the quality of the head (in terms of rhema not rhetoric preachings and testimonies) will determine the quality of the body. RCCG enjoys unnecessary media hype which does not correspond with the church's spiritual productivity. If anyone wants to prove me wrong, get the tapes of Kumuyi or oyedepo and compare their teachings with Adeboye's. One will realize the difference.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG) may emerge the most influential in the Buhari-led administration with the position of some of the church's pastors. Below are ordained pastors in RCCG who are in Buhari's government:

1) Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN - Nigeria's Vice President

2) Mr. Babatunde Fowler - Ag. Chairman, Federal Internal Revenue Service(FIRS)

3) Pastor Ben Akabueze - Special Adviser on Planning to the President

4) Pastor Laolu Akande - Spokesman to Nigeria's Vice President

5) Pastor Okechukwu Enelamah - Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment

Osinbajo and Akabueze served as commissioners during Asiwaju Bola Tinubu's tenure as Lagos State governor, while Fowler was for many years(from Tinubu's tenure till the end of Fashola) the Lagos State Tax Chief.
