Did You Know That, Most Time, 80% Of Our Actions Produce Only 20% Results? by tutorng: 10:54am On Feb 16, 2016 |
The 80/20 rule, aka Pareto Principle, an observation put forth by Vilfredo Pareto states that "80% of effects come from 20% of the causes". Other examples of illustration of this observation are: - 80% of the revenue comes from 20% of the customers - 80% of the usage comes from 20% of the features - 80% of the crashes comes from 20% of the bugs - 80% of the complaints comes from 20% of the customers - 80% of the results comes from 20% of the inputs "All things in life may be needful, but not all things are important". Your step towards success begins when you are able to identify the important 20% activities that will yield the 80% results and give them their due attention #Insight |

hardae: If i got you correctly, you refer to one of these lines: - 80% of the revenue comes from 20% of the customers - 80% of the complaints comes from 20% of the customers Now, this law is more of an observation whose underlying meaning is that nothing is equal in life. Therefore, it may not be out of place if we say, based on this observation, that the remaining 80% of customers does account for much significance. |
