hello Everyone

The reason i am creating this thread is for game business centre owners to discuss the challenges involved in setting up, the profitability level, the challenges involved in the business (issues such as police and parents coming to cause trouble) is it really worth it and possible capital needed for setting up at least a standard centre.

I intend setting one up middle of the year ....just love video games (though it is just going to be a side income)

Its been ages such a thread as this has been created. Please all game business owners, lets come forward and share ideas and also, prospective business owners are also welcome.

I already have the game consoles .....i can get as many as possible (brand new Ps4 and Ps3) although i think using brand new ones that has not been hacked may not really be good for business. suggestions please.

I am not a game centre owner.. But I know pretty well a lot about It cos I love games a lot and have friends who operate such..

I run a game centre, highly profitable but challenges in city I am currently is lack of electricity, I barely face police challenges because I do not allow minors. The only time I face challenges was when one of my useless neighbour claimed one of my customer was responsible for destroying one of his property and he even claimed they used to smoke weed in front of my shop late at night. For the weed matter, na kukuma true but dem don quit
When we eventually landed at police station, they want to claim was illegal but I told them, its highly legal,because my mouth sabbi talk wella and we are in civilized world in which they know themselves and I also claimed why can't they go and raid silverbird but they claimed they didn't arrest for business purpose but for the neigbour complain claimed about me habouring a criminal(imagine that). Then I told the Inspector, that's what the next thing, I should close for him and go to the street, and continue rugged life, but you people rest assure that I run a clean and smooth business with no minor and no school uniform even though I allowed uniform between 2 to 5 pm only

No matter the challenges in any business, as long as its legal, cast your fear away and run your business, you are not going to be jail for this. Even the police told me not to allow minor and stop my customer for loitering , they even said they knew the neigbour are bad belle people but they have to do their job even if they report again. I runs by biz smoothly and warn my boy to keep to the rule because I don't stay there.

Your neigbour might be your number one enemy but to avoid them, simply avoid minors and stop your customer from loitering, don't allow the school uniform during the day and if eventually you mistakenly landed in police custody, just get one of their DPO number, call him on the threats against your business and play safe, you cannot be lock except your neigbour thrown heavy allegation against you
