I always say it here that any man without a male child is nake.d both now and in the grave despite fourty female kids. If that late king didnt have a son, you know the rest of the story. Long live the king

A dead man has more serious worries than whether or not he had a son and what happens to his earthly possessions

15-year-old Son Of Murdered Delta Monarch Emerges Nigeria's Youngest King

The 15-year-old son of kidnapped king of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, HRM Obi Akaeze Ofulue III, who was killed by his abductors in January 2016, has ascended the throne of his forefathers. The deceased 52-year-old king was on 5th January 2016 abducted by suspected Fulani herdsmen on Obior/ Igbodo Road, Delta State, along with his driver. The monarch's corpse was found at Ekpon in Edo State at 3p.m. on 21st January 2016.

The new king is Obi (King) Chukwuka Noah Akaeze I, and he has been presented to the people of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom. The presentation of the 15-year-old king followed the fulfillment of different traditional rites that led to his crowning by the kingmakers of Ubulu-Uku. Obi (King) Chukwuka Noah Akaeze I was first presented to the members of the Royal family before the presentation to the council of elders at the palace.

The brief presentation ceremony was attended by prominent citizens of the kingdom including the member representing Aniocha/Oshimili constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Mrs. Onyemaechi Mrakpor; President-General of Ubulu-Uku Development Union, Comrade Jones Ofunne; chairman of Aniocha South council, Mr. Isaac Anwuzia, traditional chiefs and title holders in the kingdom, religious leaders, women, youths and other stakeholders.

I love this lovely feat. This is how the boy would become more determined and powerful when he remembers what happened to his father. But I think any potential kidnappers in his town should be careful because he would punish them mercilessly. That boy would have been showing great leadership traits whilst his appointment as the king. Nobody brought ruling experience from heaven, he would be successful and may the spirit of his father always guide and protect him if there is anything like that in God's Principles! Long live the King!!!

you are not familiar with the method of ascension to the throne in this part of the country. for kingdoms in anioma area of delta state and Benin, kingship is hereditary. father to eldest son, there is no such thing as appointment. This is why the Dein of Agbor ascended the throne at the age of 2 years at his father's death. the heir is groomed from birth to be king, so he learns to lead.. he doesn't walk into it by accident or woos some powerful politician to become king... naah! e.g for the binis, at birth the crown prince is taken away from his father, the oba, given a separate palace, chiefs, maids and bodyguards. He is given rulership over a part of Benin kingdom, thus he is referred to as Edaiken N'uselu(meaning Edaiken of Uselu, the area where Uniben is located). at the death of the Oba, he is crowned Oba of benin and the circle continues.

Maturity does not go by age;it basically goes with the acceptance of responsibility.

All those places you cited are white. Thats why women oppress men there and men are at the mercy of their wives. Its a different thing in Africa where we follow God ordained order of nature which is men first before females. Men are the head and will forever be the head over women here in Africa, no matter how loud the rebels of gender equality cry and wail
really? you mean africans discriminate women, i am married to a white woman and my wife respects me, i ve never felt opressed by my wife; you claim in africa you follow God's ordained order of nature right, but you fail to realise that africans only became aware of God through white people the same people you claim you don't follow, but follow the God they introduced and brainwashed you into believing exists, you are the most sanctimoniously confused african i ve ever come across, and i pity you!
