His 'body Language' Isn't Respected In His Hometown. by DesChyko: 2:04pm On Feb 25, 2016
A lot of recent developments; the good ones that is, have been attributed to the President's body language by his praise-singers, some of which he has come out to refute, some of which he has just let flow.

He has been described as a 'no-nonsense' personality, with zero tolerance for incompetence, citing his 'body language' as a telling factor in calling people to order.
Well, many in-house occurences point to the fact that even his body language has no value amongst his cabinet, lesser even amongst the citizenry.

Recently, he and his information minister goofed in the eyes of the world again:

20th February, 2016: Lagos, Nigeria

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, on Saturday
said that the 2016 budget was not padded because the total figure voted for all
ministries had not exceeded N6.08 trillion.

24th February, 2016: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
President Muhammadu Buhari has conceded to members of the Nigerian
community in Saudi Arabia that the 2016 budget he submitted to the
National Assembly was padded by some entrenched interests who he has
vowed to punish.

Does it mean that these two don't communicate? Or that the Minister has been given a free-hand to disburse information as he deems fit? Or is it that the propaganda has eaten so deep into their modus operandi that dislodging it now is herculean?

Rewind to 23rd of December, 2015, Lai Mohammed propounded that President Buhari had met the deadline of defeating Boko Haram before 31st December (as opposed to July - two months after inauguration), saying that they can't carry out any attack anymore. The President backed him up on this fact, but two days was all it took for the propaganda to be exposed, as Boko Haram unleashed terror on Kimba residents in Borno State, who may have been sold on the fake good news.

Perhaps for this reason, he chose not to back up Lai Mohammed again grin

Whichever the situation is, it's obvious the body language is reserved to every other aspect that negatively impacts the opposition.

As for the 'EFCC-untouchables' in APC, that is a story for another day.

First of all it is well known that a prophet has no value in his home town, and second, any minister who is not in tune with his president is most likely not to last long in the cabinet.
Its not Buhari's fault, its just the law of nature. Can 2 walk together except they agree?
