parrotibaba:Oga relocate to Abuja and feel Glo's extraordinary super speed. I downloaded 100MB data in less than 20 seconds. |

Kizyte:Oga please take it easy; that can only be achieved with strong 4G network in Nigeria. Unless you meant you are currently in the US |

okitikpo:I downloaded with 3G on 1.1MB per second. Believe it or not |
Re: 5 Highly Exciting Things About The Airtel Network Recently by okitikpo: 7:39pm On Feb 28, 2016 |
Kizyte:Oga den do the maths urself. U said initially 100mb in 20sec, but with 1.1mb/s as you said now, 20sec will only give you 22mb and not 100mb as u said. And off course if 3G is strong and stable one can go up to 2mb/s then up to 5mb/s for 3.75 G that Naija GSM network providers can offer at best |

bongolistik:so the N2500 for 4.5GB, N3000 for 6GB, N5000 for 12GB, etc is for what? Java phones? Why do most folks argue senseless? |
Re: 5 Highly Exciting Things About The Airtel Network Recently by bongolistik(m): 6:43pm On Feb 29, 2016 |
parrotibaba:Oga so up till today u don't know the difference between normal data and android data. Glo does not have android specific data. Those things u mentioned are Glo normal monthly data plans. Stop showing your ignorance and think you are making sense. That you can use all normal data on android with Glo, Etisalat and MTN does not mean they have android specific plans. It is only Airtel that have official data plans for android. |
Re: 5 Highly Exciting Things About The Airtel Network Recently by bongolistik(m): 6:49pm On Feb 29, 2016 |
parrotibaba:It is so amazing that even after you dialled *777# you clearly saw BlackBerry plans and Data plans but u just ignorantly chose to convert the data plans their to android Data plans. I repeat Glo, MTN and Etisalat does not have android specific plans |
Re: 5 Highly Exciting Things About The Airtel Network Recently by parrotibaba(m): 6:50pm On Feb 29, 2016 |
bongolistik:so glo must call it android data plan before it's for Android according to you? It works for Android so it's an android plan since you don't use it through dubious means. God is that so hard? |
Re: 5 Highly Exciting Things About The Airtel Network Recently by bongolistik(m): 7:01pm On Feb 29, 2016 |
parrotibaba:Lol so airtel BB plans dat work on android are also android plan because they work on android without dubious means. Just listen to yourself |
Re: 5 Highly Exciting Things About The Airtel Network Recently by parrotibaba(m): 7:23pm On Feb 29, 2016 |
bongolistik:Airtel bb plans work on Android because airtel allows it to be so, and more over they triple bill it. Glo also have a bb data plan but folks use it on Android phones as well. This glo overload data plan is essentially for all smart phones, making it an android, bb, iPhone and Windows data plan which means that it is indeed an android data plan since glo didn't exempt the android platform from the plan. I don't know how else to explain this. It's like a toothbrush, which is used by men, women, kids and even dogs, you don't have to specifically call it "toothbrush for men" before you understand that men use toothbrushes. 1 Like |

I also agree that Airtel browsing speeds have increased significantly over the last 6 months or so, especially at evening/night when I routinely get about 10mbps. This is right in etisalat territory. If I rate internet quality it would be as follows: Etisalat 1st Airtel close 2nd Mtn distant 3rd Glo even more distant 4th Though I concur that Mtn and glo could be faster for some u users based on specific location, but generally these rankings are in order. |
