A fake Naval officer has been apprehended by the Enugu state police command
– Sunday Oka had for too long swindled people in Anambra and Enugu states
– He was nabbed while trying to help free his criminal associates
– Fake Naira notes were recovered from Oka
Sunday Oka, a native of Isielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State has been arrested by the Police in Enugu state police command.
Oka who was arrested for fraud, was parading himself as a naval officer, a guise with which he perpetrated his evil schemes.
Prior to his arrest, Oka had allegedly been swindling unsuspecting members of the public within Onitsha, Anambra state, as well as Enugu and surrounding environs.
According to a statement issued by the Enugu state police spokesman, DSP Ebere Amaraizu, the suspect, who resides at Mmakwum Obosi in Idemili-north local Government Area of Anambra state, was nabbed by operatives of the New Haven Division of the Enugu State police command.
Daily Post reports that Oka was apprehended when he allegedly dressed in Nigeria naval T-shirt, with a cap and went to the station, where he identified himself as a naval officer.
