Get on Diya & fatimilehin website, there's a house for sale in an estate on Lasu - Iba road for about 6. sumthing million, but am sure they'd have sumtin in ur preferred range.

You Estate Agents on Nairaland are Very Funny

Everyday, you bombard the property Forum with all manner of Properties, land, Mortgages blah blah blah for sale ranging from N100,000 to N10Billion looking for clients and purchasers to buy these properties and hand you a hefty commission.

Everyday, you complain that business is slow, economic crunch, global recession . . . blah blah blah

For once, somebody has come to challenge you directly that he needs to buy a property ASAP immediately and is waiting for your offer so he can wrap up the deal that will make one estate Agent very happy with his hefty commission and all of a sudden, its as if Time has stopped and your all frozen and cannot give a valid offer to this Man!

Its really sad and tommorrow, you will resume on Nairaland properties shouting, screaming and spamming:

"3 bedroom bungalow for sale in Onipanu N50 Billion Naira good title"

"Available"

"Still Available"

"Owner has reduced the Price"

etc etc etc

But when you are presented with a golden opportunity, you refuse to take it and tomorrow you will be wondering why your own share of the Miracle hasn't reached you, when your not even trying to help your selves!

Come to think of it: When I'v got nothing to offer as it concern a request, should I because I'm an Estate Agent on Nairaland respond to every post I come across because of the million (or even billion) naira commission I stand 2 get in the event of the deal coming thru? Do you call dis a good practise? Ofcos not! Permit me to say here that in my very short time on Nairaland, I can bear testimony to a number of good and competent Estate Agents we have got on Nairaland, having had cause to do one or two business with them.

I can go on and on, but the bottom line is that for the sake of people like me and the other good people of Nairaland, I think we deserve an apology from you. This must come with immediate effect. We are waiting.

And for the request of a bungalow between N8 - N10 million in an estate, me think it might just be impossible. Moreso, the poster should specify the location(s) of his choice. Betterstill, I challenge you (lawyer) to take up dis brief. you will see how frustrating it will be. I can assure you dis.

Did you actually read thru the whole thread?
Did you notice that till Lawyer made such comment, most of the people never took the guy serious, instead they were referring him to Diya?

Good Agents will go all the way, when he mentioned what he wanted, you will call your colleagues and check who has what he was looking for and find a way to wrap a deal, one good deal always begat the other. . . . . It is all about networking

I do understand where you coming from though, that not all are bad, but he was just talking as a professional that he is.
