Most African parents, especially Nigerians, give their children names with deep spiritual, social and cultural meaning. It is believed that names impact on the life of the bearer, either positively or negatively.

It’s not surprising that most Nigerian parents now give their children names like Victory, Goodluck, Success etc.

This is almost certainly not true in other climes, especially in the western world.
