Here I would like to input my past experience, attended one church . The ushers were not at the entrance when I walked in. In my mind Thank God I escaped those numerous White ,Purple,blue Envelops. Damn it immediately I was getting to relaxed and have my sit . Trust me no dulling I was presented with those Envelops. That's Aside has anyone noticed the newly invested styles that will forced you to part away with your last money. No more passing the basket around, Y'all need to dance around the church like placing the offering basket in front of the church . Bro unless shame no dey catch you . My place of worship is called a Kingdom hall...no collections are taken...we dont pass baskets around for offerings...there is a box at the back for whoever wants to donate voluntarily...thats we Jehovah's Witnesses...i'm proud to have this great privilege

In my church is just two Sunday Love offering and seed offering my people will understand Which church am talking about

At the anglican church I attend here @Festac town. First we give
- Offering during (Offetory hymn)

- Sunday Offering

- Tithes, Vow & Special offering

- if its first sunday of the month we give New month offering & Prophetic harvest offering ( two different offerings)

- if you celebrated your birthday/wedding during the week. you come out and give offering.
If its someone that you know is celebrating, Its advised you come out to support them with ur cash ofcourse,lol


Then if church plans on an Impromptu project like building project etc, you give an "emergency" offering there & then.

Lastly, you can give funny offerings like last month, the Vicar said if yu know you are happy. Come out & give a HAPPY OFFERING to the Lord. And e get as e be, if u r the only person sitting when bout 90% are going to give offering. So u gats prepare

NB: Church uses Air condition & Flat screen tv in every corner, so u get first class service,lol

I was opportune to attend one Apostolic in Akwa Ibom and my purse was left dry trying to please God and pastors in the name of offerings. The matter was so serious that I almost went borrowing for my T.fare. Imagine telling us to do new month for Jesus Christ and those that have not done Xmas for God should come out, exclusive of mandatory payment for seed sowing ni o etc. The number offerings was sixth times.

There is no offering time during services in my church, Apostolic Faith Church. There are offerings/tithe boxes at designated places and people give as God directs them. God knows you and sees if your are faithful with him or not. Just put the money in box directly or in an envelope (without putting your name).

in my church here, there is no time for offering or tithe collection @ APOSTOLIC FAITH CHURCH. the boxes are placed @ designated places, if God touches your heart you visit the box at your convenient time n if not OYO ..... its btw u n God no one cares ooo.
