While everywhere buzzed during and after the AMCVA about Aigbe's dress, Yemi Alade's Clevage, Toke Makinwa's make up and what have you. I was lost in thought of how much we have deviated from celebrating through greatness and class. With all due respect to the new generation of actresses,they make the news for the wrong reasons week in week out. Yet they hit the Front page for farting in their backyards. Yet we have women that are Professionals/Role models that get little or no recognitions at all. Mama Bukky Ajayi, Rachael Oniga, Joke Silva just to mention a few has graced our movie industry with style, glamour and true virtue. Seeing the reaction of mama Bukky on the wheel during the awards and the emotions that followed showed just how much appreciation means to this people as well. Lets not wait for a Posthumous celebration for them. Mummy Bukky gave me a teary eyes last night. She amongst other great women in her trade are living legends.
