ENTREPRENEURS
Mcsnup PERFECT

On January 1, everyone welcomes the new year with a celebration, we welcome it with the sense of responsibility. The previous year ended with a break for all workers, we knew December was no break at all, just when to get consumed with fine tuning the new year's strategies. We planned at December yet still planning by March, For us work is in season and out of season, cos every moment we meet our newest variables. Entrepreneurs, always shedding a tear, with no one there to wipe their eyes, cos the only thing men see are their smiles. When their work suffers a setback, their only blames are themselves, they act in control, even when their next meal is uncertain, who cares? After all we're business men. Clients see us as greedy, staff see us as stingy, the enterprise thinks we're lethargic, yet our quest is to satisfy all. Friends await our weddings, Family thinks we're getting old, everyone looks forward to a party, nada guessing what sleeplessness we enjoy. The burden of society is 'pon us, we never dare to remorse, our idleness is mind-toil, one minute of pleasure is lament. Entrepreneurs! Our sleep at night is brain storm, our walk on the road is Ad scout, we're mad men playing office on main roads, chatting up clients on sick beds, we escape death by the whiskers. Streeters, we dream of our own board, see our present allies as potential board members, until, until... Until one by one they bow out, and here we are, solo again. Entrepreneurs, never heard of one who begun not in the streets thus I call them Streeters. The only ones to drop out, yet pretend it never hurts them, they attempt Jamb like 7 years, yet train students to pass Jamb. Their depression, is shut in, even when they close 'pon a deal. One day they think it's all coming close, when one, two, three nay four address them as Boss. We climb, the figure climbs, we enjoy the euphoria but for the little while it'll last, Boss, they call but we're shy to Boss! Always planning, always projecting, always strategizing, only to close the planner and fall back to contingencies, nay, to improvisation. Entrepreneurs, got no opening nor closing time for work. We work at night and doze at day, sleep not cos we want to but since we need to. Entrepreneurs! Adapting to varieties, cos there's none to deputize. Just when they're Adapting to office life, a buddy resigns and they adapt to the streets again. Entrepreneurs the least to complain, about government policies and banks surcharges. Their only news is think the way out. Their suit is reserved for business appointments, and their shoes and looks' are just an act. Entrepreneurs, What's more to say... Hmmmmm... PEACE TO ALL IN DA STRUGGLE.
