I don't know . . . it's not just suya. this seems to be a worldwide phenomenon. people often roast meat over open fires at night. in american camping sites, in Indian markets, this is the usually the case, even in boy scout circles, fires and roasting take place at night. Maybe it's a remnant culture from when fires were the only source of illumination and it doubled to provide light and energy for cooking. Also, I think this is because most of the people that purchase Suya, are around at nights. usually when they are coming home from work. 2 Likes |
