My name is Ada, I want to share a little story about my family, its a true life story.

Ada! My mom shouted. Ma! I answered from my bedroom.Come and give me my exercise book on my reading table.My mom is fond of calling you to come and give her something very close to her.Anyway its part of the joys of motherhood. I came to her room and gave her the exercise book. Me:Please mom, I need five thousand naira for faculty fee
Mom:I don't have it now, I'll give it to u in five days time.
Me: ok thanks mom
That's my parents for you,they will never give you anything straight away, they must delay to make you understand that money is not easy to comeby. I went back to my room to continue what I was doing.Ada! that's my mom again.
Me:what is it?
Mom:what are you even doing in your room?
Me:I was reading. I lied, I was actually facebooking but you can't expect me to tell my mom that so i had to lie.
Mom:ok,I have forgotten why I called you, when I remember it I'll call you.
I went back to my room or should I say our room.i share the room with Rosa my elder sister but she's not at home.Rosa is in IMT so she only comes home during their break.I'm taller than Rosa but I believe she's more beautiful than me. Her shape is superb. And she is richer than me.As for me I'm in Esut that's why I stay at home cos our house is close to my school.I'm tall, fair,slim and beautiful in my own little way. My younger brother is still in the secondary school.So, whenever Rosa is in her school its only my parents, my younger brother and myself that you'll find in the house.

I don't know if I'm the cause of my inability to enjoy nollywood movies.Anytime I'm watching a movie I will be singing story for the gods in my mind.Any action they display I will look at my younger brother Ekene and we'll both shout story for the gods. But this is not the case with my mother as she enjoys nollywood more than anyother thing. Since morning she has colonized the tv all in the name of watching idemili. I have been so impatient for the movie to finish so that I can watch my latest movie titled witches of east end.I love magical movies a lot. As I waited for my mom to finish the last part of her movie, Nepa did the usual thing. I was so angry, if only I could see the nepa boss I will give him a dirty slap.
As we all sat in the sitting room waiting for Nepa, my father came home. One thing about my dad is that he doesn't like to see us idle. Infact he hates seeing us idle. So immediately he came home he ordered me and Ekene to come out and draw water from the well.
Me:But daddy we have enough water already
Dad:water can never be enough
Me:I suggest we leave it till the....
Dad:my friend shut up and do as I told u.
I knew I can't convince him any further,his mind is made up, we must draw water from the well.Did I forget to mention that I hate drawing water from the well.but I don't have a choice.
I looked up from where I was drawing water and saw a figure approaching our compound. The shape resembles our aunt's shape.I quickly said a short prayer so that it wouldn't be aunty Rose.there are some people you call aunt but they are neither your father's sister nor your mother's sister all you know is that they are your aunt. Aunty Rose is like a parasite, she only comes to our house whenever she is broke. I can't even describe her shape because it is shocking. Whenever she comes to our house she will make sure she goes home with a lot of things.
Aunty Rose:Ada, so you can't come and help me carry my bag eh
Me:aunty welcome. I'm busy that's why
Aunty rose: so because you're busy you can't even hug your aunty
Me:my parents are inside. With that I looked away, how can I hug her when I know that even bread will not come out of the hug nonsense.

Hahaha... I don't like those kinda aunts..."parasites" that never buys aunty oyoyo
