The reported Crisis is not general to jos or plateau state but a very small community in jos Know as Angwan Rukuba. Angwan Rukuba is along bauchi Ring road and it is a center to many other smaller communities like Dogon Dutse, Nasarawa Gwong, Eto-baba, Yantrailer etc.

Last Night in Angwan Rukuba Jos, the vigilantee group known as Yan Banga and police moved to arrest those who abuse substance (Smoking things) and restrictions from the youth resulted to police shooting.

Two people were reported being shot which led to the burning of the three police station within the environs. The Police Stations affected are those in Angwan Rukuba, Eto-Baba and around Popular ares known as Steps.

The Youth complained that the police are not the NDLEA and should not be involved in anything that is not under their control.

The men of NDLEA do visit the environment frequently on tip offs they get about dealers and consumers of hard substances, but the sudden move by the police alongside the vigilantee was uncalled for and they think it was motivated by politicians.

The crisis was not a religious crisis as some people think. It is an uproar against the police and the civilians were not affected by the uproar. only some youth that opposed the police were affected by last nights uproar.

The uproar only lasted through few hours of the night. Their is peace and calm right now and people are going about their business as if nothing happened.

I actually against police shooting anybody but whose so ever is found smoking what is unregistered to be smoked should be arrested.

Be it in jos, bronu, Enugu Lagos or anywhere.
