Without mincing words I believe GMB has the illumination of heart to lighten things up for this our great country Nigeria.

A leader of great antecedent who sincerely shed tears for its dear country is indeed a true patriot.

A leader which against all odds conquered all opposing effects to win a free and credible election is indeed wanted by the people.

A leader who is sincerely unfolding the menace of corruption in our public and private sector. . . May Allah in his infinite mercy bless GMB..

All these being said, let's be more realistic.

GMB seems to have faulted in delivering most of his campaign promises.

Having ruled Nigeria in the past, Most queued behind him because indeed they were frustrated with leadership of the ousted government and also knowing fully well he understands the terrain of events thus wouldn't spend much time to settle in office and change the tides of happenings to the favour of millions of Nigerians who felt deprived of true democracy in the 4th Republic.

One key note any leader must understand is that Nigeria is a multi ethnic and religious region thus in fairness, a balance need to be struck in participation and recognition. Cabals and saboteurs would always be there to lock horns. Once not ready to row the boat then participate not, or accept the offer not when called to serve.

I don't want to venture into time spent to appoint ministers, heads of parastatal, departments and agencies or equity of balance in these choices.

Every government has a formula which is its fundamentals to govern it's populace, be it frequent travel to seek foreign investors, sanitising the judiciary system, curbing corruption, empowering States to control their resources or many more.

As a lay Nigerian, my primary concern is economy mutuality, that's benefitting and giving back to the economy in fairness. I guess having legitimate earnings and paying due tax makes one meet up with the fair share of economy mutuality.

May 29th would be a year exactly since this government kicked off.

Power generation has not improved, price of commodities sky rockets in the open market, queues have returned to our filling stations amidst high prices, foreign exchange is not spared, capital projects are yet to fully kick off, employment programmes yet to kick off. One would think the economy is static.

But all said, the budget which all these nosedive seems to be dependent on, would be pass on March 17th. So let's keep faith in our government, be prayerful, supportive and truly hope we see and harness from the changed being promised.

Long live our amiable president....
