Why would student protest for not paying their appropriate fees? Our idea of free riding is amusing.
This is one of the reasons some school do not allow students to have a union because the union most times do not know what to fight for. I wouldn't want to blame the student union 100% because the various house of legislatures in the country have always been seen serious arguing over petty issues and they are only emulating the unseriousness of our government.

my annoyance with all this policy is that majority of the now policy makers of the various universities that has implemented the no fees no exam policy went to school on scholarship and do not know the pain that most of the students and their folks go through to pay fees. in my opinion a no fees no certificate is better....i stand to be corrected though....
