There is something about me whenever I see anyone smoking,I get irritated immediately.
Maybe because I just see smokers as
unserious people (my opinion) Because sometimes when I see people smoking cigarette under the hot sun and am like, 'Kuku para eh' (Please just commit suicide) Religion aside I can count how long I took alcohol. The first time was 17years back when friends consistently praised the precious bottle of guinness which prompted my doubt about the fun in alcohol.

Then one day in a party, I also requested for a bottle of small stout after I saw the sheepish smile on my friends face whenever they gulped their bottle of guiness, they hailed me immediately I requested for a bottle as well and even insisted on a very chilled one specially for my introduction into the world of alcohol, I smiled, opened my bottle and off I went gulping so much of the content.

I have to be sincere I was immediately dissapointed about the whole introduction into the world of alcohol because:
1. It was bitter and sour in my mouth
2. I looked around and I saw the way friends were looking so glad and happy gulping all contents and requesting for more.
Then I kept imagining? WHERE'S THE FUN.
On a normal circumstance, when you take something bitter, you bound to frown but when you take something sweet you get so glad in the whole aura of the taste and fun.
I immediately start seeing all my friends on that sit as probably An Alien or better off insane because I kept telling myself? But this thing is bitter why are this idiots smiling and looking so glad? I dropped the bottle and requested for my ever precious bottle of chilled coke and off it went.

I didn't say anything when we got home I asked the closest idiot to me, I was like? that guiness you asked me to take at the party yesterday was so bitter, so why were u saying drinking alcohol was fun?
He looked at me and said 'that's the fun in it, bitter but sweet at the end of it' I looked at him and walked away in my mind 'This guy is mad'

2 years after that a friend was having a party at the beach and it was all fun and all, then the devil in them just focused attention on me and they were like Debo, why don't you take alcohol sef, I was like, just let me be o! Don't let the devil use you people to start this nonsense alcohol story again o. Then that silly boy told them I don't take Alcohol because it's bitter.

Then the ring leader said, oh bitter ke 'Oya take smirnoff ice it's sweet just like your regular coke and fanta' I am naturally inquisitive in nature, I always want to know about things, the bottle was brought down I gulped it and yes it was actually sweet and chilled.

In my mind I was like, ehn ehn this is a definition of alcohol, I had two bottle only we left the beach I got home went to bed immediately and I slept off wokeup the next day 5pm just looked around brushed tried taking somethings but within 20mins I went back to bed and slept off again till the next day (slept for 24hours) I wasn't getting the motive behind the alcohol just yet.

Months later we were back in a certain club and there was no smirnoff ice and I was told to try hennesy mixed with energy drink, I took it and yes that was sweet too, in my mind I was like! Who ever introduced guinness to me as alcohol is a madman, remember this is my 3rd time of taking alcohol, normally when we go out, am always the unofficial driver because I was lucky my elder brother taught me how to drive as early as 17yrs old so I was the best amongst us all.

The day I had smirnoff I guess someone else drove because I insisted I was tired and in the morning I was having this severe headache I thought it was because of the dancing and all.

But on this day I was the driver in- charge and that was my doom, everyone else was drunk in the car and slept off, I was the only one awake and driving around 2am in the middle of the night, 'Lekki to ikeja' it was that bad all the cars on the road were just doubled I think that was the day I knew cars are also twin in nature.

Normally I was always a good driver, I already drove to Ife when I was just 19/20 so I know what I was doing perfectly but sincerely speaking I was doomed that day, I just can't remember how I drove back to ikeja that day.

But in the morning I was having a banging headache and was so weak. Then I realized finally, alcohol wasn't meant for me. That's about 13yrs back because I imagined, if I was married with my wife and kid in the car and am driving home after gulping alcohol, is this how my families life would be risked because of my silly enjoyment?

13yrs and counting I have never tasted any form of alcohol and I have been fine, nowadays when I go out with friends they mostly drink to stupor because they know surely I won't taste a drop of it and I will drive them home.

Most times when we go out I drop everyone of them at home each like am a school bus driver, walk them to their doors before I drive home lol.

Now my anger?
I hate alcohol because I don't understand why I have to drink a poison knowing fully well it can kill me, but whenever am in group of friends when we talk sometimes they point fingers at me as the weakest and lazy one amongst the all because I don't Take Alcohol

Alcohol is bad for the liver and also makes some people misbehave. It must be shunned.



Thank God you didn't get addicted to it after being lured by friends to take Guiness Stout, Smirnoff and Henessy on three different occasions.

I still don't get the motive behind the alcohol fun, why would I want to drink something and I won't understand what I was doing anymore? Isnt that semi-insanity?

I hate alcohol and any artificial drink. I have my juice extractor at home which I use to make my smoothies.

No bro they look at u in amazement & say so guys like dis still exist, when u get to the hospital emergency wards & see patients suffering from diabetes & gastrointestinal bleeding due to liquor, then u will be proud of ursef not taking it, sir people re daily dying from liquor effects...

Any man who has a very low tolerance for alcohol is largely considered as weak by his peers. You are seen as not been up to pace, not up to the level.

I have a high tolerance for alcohol, but I drink occassionally, sometimes once in 2/3 months, anything done in excess is not healthy.
