The court has said that the panel set up to investigate Joshua dariye is illegal and unconstitutional, this is a victory for democracy but will the verdict be respected that is another issue to be looked into. Now let see how bayo ojo will interpret this again because he came out and interpret rubbish concerning Ladoja victory.

How is this a victory for democrazy? when a governor run from prosecution in London back to Nigeria. The guy publicly came out and said he mis managed the state funds by giving it to the big boys, this is enough reason to boot him out, but i guess Nigeria will always be the same.

@BUSHFELLOW
how is it a victory for democracy when a bastard self confessing theif like dariye is given an edge over his impeachement?wether he is removed constitutionaly or not the theif is not supposed to be the number one citizen of plateau state. he is supposed to be the number one citizen in the jos prison. the whole process its self is a twsit and a mix up. as for ladoja's case, they will keep on dragging the case at the surpreme court till his time expires and then they will come out with some thing ridiculous. na naija we dey were lawlessness, fraud, deciet and mischief hails way.

A London metropolitan police detective, Mr. Peter Clarke, said yesterday in Jos that the embattled Governor of Plateau State, Mr. Joshua Dariye, was operating 13 off-shore accounts with huge sums of money believed to have been stolen from the treasury

ALL OBJ AND EFCC CRITICS I guess EFCC AND OBJ FLOATS this accounts. this governor should be in kirikiri, and people are rejoicing. I am going to church to pray for my people.

Guys, have patience. Dariye would surely reap the whirlwind. I wonder what travel plans he's made for 28/5/2007. . .

if dariye is supposed to be in kirikiri OBJ is suppoed to be executed by hanging for all his atrocities and crime. The EFCC is just a puppet and stupid organisation used to get the enemies of the president, is dariye the only corrupt governor in nigeria? or has he stole more money than andy uba? is dariye more corrupt than bode george?or is he more currupt than el rufai that was recently involved in some dirty Land deals that were exposed recently in abuja.didnt dariye openly come out and say that he gave 100million naira to the obasanjo/atiku campaing from the money he stole back in 2003 when the going between them was good? he also said that he gave 10 million to nasiru mantu the deputy senate president(why is the efcc not after him too). OBJ and dariye are all theives infact OBJ is a bigger theif that does not have the interset of his cloese friends at heart talkless of nigeria as a nation(because he uses and dumps them any how, his personal interest is his top priority). don't be decieved OBJ is not a better person than dariye because he has his own accounts too, but u will never know because he is at the top now, most of his aides have accounts that are far more than the ones dariye has but nothing has been said about them. its the same OBJ that exposed atiku to a financial scam involing a US congress man who's presidetial plane was used by one of his aides to steal nigerians money .how stupid can it be?
Re: Judiciary The Toothless Bull Dog Is Beginnig To Have Some Teeth by Odeku(m): 3:54pm On Nov 08, 2006
I am not saying OBJ is clean, none of our leaders is clean. In politics and in life it's all about who you know, we wont know how corrupt OBJ is till he is out and until then i will wait sidon and look, and I will do every thing that I can to post all his shady deals as well.

DUKE In his speech said he will carry on the anti corruption crusade and i think this is one of the reason, I am liking the guy. We need a leader that will fight corruption restlessly., this is an epidemic in Nigeria and need to be tackle.
Re: Judiciary The Toothless Bull Dog Is Beginnig To Have Some Teeth by mazaje(m): 4:47pm On Nov 08, 2006
if corruption is to be tackled then there should be no sacred cows because as we know the sacred cows are the ones destryiong the nation(the cris ubas, bode george, nasiru mantu, femi fani kayode, tony anenhi, peter odili, vitor attah abdullahi adamu and all the close associates of OBJ) if we want corruption be be eradicated they all, should be brought to book selective persecution will not stop anything only decipline will.

Mazaje I agreed with you totally especially ur previous post. Dariye is a thief everyone knows that but all we are saying is that due process should be followed in impeaching him. whats happening in plataue is nonsense. I hope it will stop.
Re: Judiciary The Toothless Bull Dog Is Beginnig To Have Some Teeth by Odeku(m): 7:23pm On Nov 09, 2006
What is due process? wait until the people are eating from the dust bin? i recall back in the days we have instance justice. this was in Plateau state when a thief is caught, the killed him instantaneously, now you guys want due process, what kind of justice does a thief deserve?

Accountability is one of the principles & ethics of true democracy.
When any public officer elected or appointed is found wanting, he should be axed.
Due process must be followed to the letter. People should be zealous of protecting and enforcing the law.
The 1999 spells out this due process clearly. If the people (lawmakers) are in doubt, they should consult qualified constitutional lawyers to educate them. It should even be prerequisite for contesting for seats at any house of assembly i.e. legal understanding of the constitution.
Dariye ought to have been impeached. The Judiciary should be respected in this country.
OBJ & PDP have shown time without number that they are no respecter or courts or the judiciary as an arm of government. No wonder the NBA strike of two days to demonstrate its anger at such unethical principle of People Destroying or Deceiving the People.

I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS SET-UP FROM ALL THESE CABALS BUT ONE THING I KNOW FOR-SURE IS THAT THAT, WE CAN MAKE A WAY WHERE THERE IS NO WAY. ENOUGH OF THIS COMPLAINS; OUR COMPLAINS IS THEIR COMPLEMENTS!
OUR IDEAS ARE WHAT WE SHOULD BE LOOKING AT AS OUR WAY FORWARD. LETS US COMMUNICATE TRUE OUR IDEAS STOP COMPLAINING FRIENDS.
