The Reason Why I Think Jamb 2016 May Not be Remarked...
We all know about the complaints of Nigeria students who sat for the 2016/2017 unified tertiary matriculation exams. I was moved to make this writeup because of the compliant of the students.

Well, I calculated the possibilities of unique arrangements of questions that can be formed from 50 questions. It sum up to 3.04*10^64.... Which is far more larger than the number of students who took the general jamb exams. So even if we(1 million + candidates) were given same questions in each respectively subjects from the first day of the exam to the last, no the students will ever have same orderly arrangement of questions. i e all questions will be uniquely arranged.....

As a computer engineer aspirant, with my little programming knowledge, I saw no reasons why a programmer will want to save the questions and answers for each candidates. He would only save the marks scored by the candidate . Thereby making it hard for the jamb body to actually trace our answers back to the questions and mark them correctly... If the questions given to each candidates were actually saved, it will still take almost the same number of days used in writing this exam. Thereby giving jamb a lot of stress... This blame shouldn't be directed to Mr. Dibu alone. The blame belongs to the main programmers of the server. My general advice to all jamb candidates is to take whatever score given to them and read hard for their post-utme. The cutoff marks for most courses would hopefully be reduced this year.

u made sense sir.

But l think remarking is possible because definitely they know one or two persons may ask for a remark, and I even heard that a JAMB official said if one need a remark , he should come to their office. (don't no how true tho). At least our questions should be saved somewhere
