I think s/he made up this story, s/he is strongly against any form of church giving whc is not bad as an opinion and i av seen him made funny comments in a similar(same story,could it be a coincidence ) thread by another person

Congregation = Clients/ Customers

Tithe = Fool's money

You didnt say the circumstances under which you lost the money. That will probably help you determine why you lost the money not some silly greedy Pastor

I was'nt careless, my bag was snatched. But when i told my pastor,he asked me if i was paying tithe,i answered in the negative,he now said that was the reason why i lost the money, thats why i came on this forum to share my experience and get a solution,so i was'nt careless.

I hope you have been able to learn why tithing is the biggest scam in the history of the world. I would also like to suggest that you change your church as any pastor that can tell you what he said is surely not of God.

If it is true that because you do not pay your tithe that is why one will loose such an amount of money, meaning pastors would have long lost their congregation long time ago, because the congregation is the source of their income. and yet pastors do not pay tithe.

Tithing will not make you rich/richer nor make you go to hell or heaven.

I know some people who do not pay tithe yet they are very rich. check them out here!!!!

People do not be deceived, these guys knows whats up, i believed that these pastors are absolutely richer than any of their church members. yet they do not pay tithe and the members who kill themselves to pay tithe are still not millionaires as the pastors promised them. BE WISE!!!

Let truth be told. The bible neve taught us of such. God searches the heart and not your pocket. So if you pastor told you that you will keep on lossing you money because you didn't pay tithe, then don't hesitate to understand that you're in the wrong place. For a long time from now, Jehovah has been searching for people who will serve him in spirit and in truth. From the way you sound, I percieved that you've a heart for Godly things. The bible told us that when we come to God, he will give us rest and not load. God never told us that if we don't pay tithe that He will destory us in Hell. But he said,"draw close to me and I will draw close to you, cleanse your heart you sinners, and purify your heart you who have a tricky heart. And I will carry off your load and give you rest"( James 4:8,9).
For long Jehovah's witnesses have been spreading the goodnews of God's kingdom, helping people to get to know God. You can get in contact with one of them, explain your situation to them, and believe me you'll get a heart-filling answer.
