I do attend weekly activities in my place of worship whenever I close early, but Sunday Service is non negotiable; it's a must! My boss called me yesterday that there is an urgent assignment to carry out this morning. I felt bad because I had a very busy week at work which made me unable to attend church programs within the week.

So I want to ask, is there any reason why attending church services on Sundays should be missed and are such reasons acceptable before God?

Yes! If Real Madrid has a match in the morning, I'll miss the Sunday service. I can't deceive myself. I'll be in Church but my mind will be with the match. So, No!

. . .and it's not by going to Church. I communicate with God better when I am alone. Too much distractions these days in Church, especially the one I attend.

Sorry for joining the forum late, in my own opinion it depends on your relationship with God.
As for the if l miss a Sunday service, the remaining days of the week could turn out to bring misfortunes for me.
