Never have that notion that in the North people just come and get things without stress because it will shock you when you come around. I am presently doing my masters here and I see how many of those who come from the south end in regret because they initially felt that getting their masters here will be a walk over. If you merit it you stand a better chance of been admitted but don't make that wrong assumption because you will end up with surprises.
