There was a huge controversy in the AFCON qualifier between Nigeria and Egypt on Friday when the officiating referee blew the final whistle while Mohamed Salah was through on goal in the final minute.

Egyptian players were furious with the Zimbian referee’s decision and didn’t take it likely with him.

The return leg will be played in three days’ time in Alexandria, Egypt.

It was so bad of the ref to do that. We were arguing at the stadium what the ref blew, some say it was offside and next thing we saw it was the end of the match.

Once the time elapse, the ref can blow the whistle, no one can fault dat...
