I've always believed that God is a spirit and therefore, no mortal can see him. But However, I was taken aback when I noticed that even the Bible is not reliable in giving answer to the question "Has anyone seen God before?"
Here are the contradictory answers from the Bible -
"Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up and saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was something like a pavement made of lapis lazuli, as bright blue as the sky. But God did not raise his hand against these leaders of the Israelites; they saw God, and they ate and drank". (Exodus 24: 9-11).

"No one has ever seen God... " (John 1:18; 1st John 4:12).

So what do we say about issues like this? Is the Bible really contradicting itself?
Pastors and Bible scholars in the house pls help...

N/b: I am not creating this thread for Muslims, atheists, anti-Christs etc to capitalize and insult the authenticity of the Bible. I still respect the Bible as the most widely used Holy Book in the world. I created this to learn... Haters of the Bible pls stay off.

I only believe that God exists. Whether anyone has seen him or not doesn’t affect my belief.
