Indeed you have no idea what you are talking about. Japans economy is run by almost 60% power generated via nuclear reactors and they are even expanding now by building more reactors so they can hit 80% and they are managing it very well. FYI japan isnt the only nation with nuclear reactors and why can we not manage it. USA as multi ethnical as they are have the same terror risk as we do yet they have nuclear plants... is vietnam better than us yet they have signed a contract with russia for nuclear plants and even india as crude as they are have reactors so what are u saying?

Oga there are people who believe in the lifestyle that "if you really want things done you have to do it yourself" . We all can clearly see that Buhari is passionate about the Nigerian project and would love for things to move faster than they are but right now all he can do is just like its done in a game of chess.... make the right moves in anticipation of victory and these moves he is making and quite well too.

Speaking of Nigerians in interviews isnt the priority as we already have a label outside as scammers and wasteful people just like in Israel where I was told to my face that we are known to be " Noise makers" . We have a stigma outside so the best approach isnt to talk about the stigma or the people but to talk about what you would gain from Nigeria despite the negative branding of its citizenry while internally we work on fixing our flaws.

Nigeria isnt on fire. We have a vice president who is now in charge. Whatever needs to be done will be. So relax

As for abike, she is so useless and worthless..... So mr president is saying there's no better person to take up that post? Who she help self?

I did the same too, stood by this government and watched it win but right now I cannot but regret ever doing so, a government so insensitive to the problems of the country.

It is not a must to rule, He should get the freaking hell outta the kitchen if it is too hot, no shame in it.

What Buhari is doing can be regarded as aggressive marketing. He is aggressively putting Nigeria in the faces of all Nations he has visited and will visit and this is laudable because in many countries there are people who either know nothing about Nigeria or only know about its negative tendencies as depicted by their media because bad news sells.

One of the key instruments to development is stable and adequate power and nuclear power generation is key to this.

Nigeria aims to build two 1000MWe nuclear plants for starters and this is a great move. Those who think we are not ready for nuclear power should go and ask india why they did it when they were also thought to be "not ready".

Nuclear energy isnt the monopoly of any nation as all they can do is regulate. If Nigeria wanted to be stubborn all we have to do is go to russia and contract them to build nuclear reactors for us here and russia would gladly do so because they are open to doing that for countries who require it. Even ordinary vietnam is about to commence the cobstruction of theirs through russia so why can't we?

I APPLAUD THE PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA FOR THIS BOLD MOVE. NO NATION BECOMES GREAT WITHOUT RISKS BEING TAKEN.

Which Russia?
Thesame Russia that built Ajaokuta steel mill for us?
The largest white elephant project in the history of West Africa.
Imagine if Ajaokuta waa a nuclear facility.
Or
Have you forgotten Chernobyl disaster.
Even my Lecture that studied Power system Engineering from undergraduate to PhD level at Moscow when interviewed was totally against the idea of Russia building a Nuclear Power Plant for us, you think he doesn't know stuff ?.
Even if we are ever going to build a Nuclear Power Plant any sensible government will pick France ahead of russia because they have mastered the use of nuclear energy for "peaceful" purpose safely.

Last time I checked the one who nobody took serious but only saw as a conduit for looting nigeria was Jonathan. I am proud of Buhari and all he has and is trying to do because contrary to what you think I DO KNOW ABOUT GOVERNANCE.

Even Obama has stood before world press and spoken about racism in the united states and how their schools were no longer safe due to gun laws but are people home schooling now? No! Sometimes in governance its best you speak the truth as a foundation even if that truth is a bad one just like when Bill Clinton confessed to his affair with Lewinsky but after that you start making efforts to correct things. You on the contrary needs a lesson on governance.

Stop being emotional. Nuclear power generation is different from nuclear weaponry. Ukraine is using nuclear reactors...who built them?
Belarus is using nuclear reactors... who built them?
China is using nuclear reactors.... Who built some of them?
Taiwan is using nuclear reactors... who built them?

All those reactors were built by Russia. Show me one reactor your lecturer has built or has been consulted on. Your lecturer is a learner!

"Nuclear plants can contribute to the reliability of the power system where they increase the diversity of power generation technologies in the system. For countries that import energy, it can reduce their dependence on foreign supplies and limit their exposure to fuel price movements in international markets."

Does your lecturer know that?

What position is Nigeria in the most corrupt countries on earth?
What is the state of our currency?
What is the state of electricity, water, roads, security

Buhari is a Fulani herdsman, fools like you will never ask why he refuses to comment on the slaughter of southern Nigerians by his very own people!

Nigeria is a secular society yet Buhari allows some parts of Nigeria to operate outside the constitution using Islamic sharia law! The same states operating outside the constitutional entity of Nigeria continue to receive federal budgets as if they are part of Nigeria.

I weep for people like you...a lost generation whose heads have been on the floor smashed by boots to submission.
