I've often heard people, guys especially, speak about friend zone. From what I read, it appears it means a girl one is dating not wanting to go to bed with one or not wanting to be seen with one.

Those that have a different understanding of what friend zone is could say it. But I'm more eager to know, which is why I created this thread, what friend zone is NOT.

Friendzone means a situation whereby a girl chop your money but wud not like u to touch her kpomo

Having a mutual understanding, reciprocating love, making love and equal sharing...that is equal genuine intentions... between a male and a female, is what friend zone is NOT.

Nay, it mustn't. but the error is that one party is not genuine with the other and rather keeps the other aside due to either the advantages one party derives from the other as a plan B and that is friend zoning.

Most guys that speak of being friend-zoned never show interest in marrying the girl involved, but just sèxing her.

The girl might be friend zoning the guy without the guys knowledge.
The guy can only call it friend zoning when the girl doesn't reciprocate his infatuation and wouldn't open up to him...it isn't about sex.





In the nutshell; friend zoning is when a girl is dating another guy elsewhere but enjoys academic advantages from a coursemate making the coursemate thinks she is also into him. The girl is friend zoning the coursemate.
