I have heard all sorts of horror stories of marriage that could have been avoided if only people had taken thier time to assess the potential marriage partners before committing.

For example people giving birth to SS children, because no blood test was done, in law, sexual and financial issues, the list goes on. Why is it that people spend years training for a profession but neglect to get information and training for marriage that impacts the rest of their lives?

I attended a marriage course recently and what I learned astounded me and changed my negative attitude and beliefs in marriage, it ultimately has improved my marriage even though I have been married for nearly 8 years. I recommend this to everyone.

Would people be interested in attending pre marriage training and marriage courses if they had the opportunity, I know I would.Tell me your opinions.

It would be a great thing to do. Because , a lot of the marriages I see out there are nothing to write home about. If you look at such, you'll develope a ffear of marriage

Don't churches have premarital sex and marriage training,


People need to stop marrying others out of rush or family pressure. Also, People CHANGE!

Although no one is perfect, I strongly believe that god shows us what the problems are prior to any rubbish occurs.

My question however is: how come some people are luckier than others when it comes to love, That frustrates me, that one girl can find her true love

at 16 and be with him forever and the another person will never be soo luck

Yes, churches have pre marital and marriage counselling, but in my experience they shy away from talking about some things e.g improving your sex life by giving details of exactly what to do, domestic abuse and when it is neccessary to separate to name a few, plus they cannot cover all issues.

This is what I am talking about.

RCCG does very comprehensive marraige counselling , covers pre-maritial blood tests, finances, sex , in-laws and child bearing ( to name a few)
